ABOUT ME
I am a Detroit native who loves to cook and educate the leaders of tommorow through mentorship and as a classrooom teacher. I am a 2012 graduate from Michigan State University's College of Education with a Bachelor of Arts in Learning Disabilities Education and a 2014 graduate of Michigan State's Educational Technology Master's of Arts Program. . I love traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and extended family (friends).
I have traveled throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada conducting and presenting research on various topics in education. I earned my certificate in Teaching Educational Technology in 2013. I spent a year teaching in Chicago Public Schools where I earned a k12 teaching certificate in Illinois, Michigan, and recently obtained my South Carolina teaching certificate, as well.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I'm currently a high school Special Education Teacher in a small rural area in Michigan. I volunteer in an after school program, tutor students, and coach high school sports.
